Gorgon River Wines is a dynamic and organic boxed wine marketed towards casual wine drinkers who are concerned about cost and interested in sustainability.

The brand's logo is inspired by an early depiction of the gorgon Medusa.

Branding

The brand's logo is inspired by an early depiction of the gorgon Medusa. To create the final logo, I painted over my initial sketch to give the brand a hand-made look. This felt important as a brand that was marketing itself towards a target audience concerned about cost.

Packaging

This was my first project in a cube format, which required me to have each side’s design work together as one. This was hard for me to picture theoretically, and creating multiple prototypes throughout the design process allowed me to make sure everything fit together correctly.
